Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My friend and I came here for lunch this weekend, and we had an amazing experience. The food was delicious, and everything tasted fresh. The lamb was incredibly tender, and the broth had so much flavor. We ended up eating way more than we planned because everything was so good! The staff was outstanding. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and constantly making sure we had what we needed. It’s rare to find service this attentive these days. The restaurant was busy, but the team handled everything efficiently and kept the dining area clean and organized. You can tell they really care about their customers. If you’re in the area and craving hot pot, this place is absolutely worth a visit. Great food, excellent service, and a fun dining experience. Five stars all the way!

I came here for the buffet and still left a tip, but the server had the audacity to complain it wasn't enough and actually lectured me to my face. They argued that even though it's a buffet, they still brought dishes to the table. I can understand a server wanting a good tip, but their attitude and logic were completely out of line. Tipping is voluntary—do I owe you something? Am I supposed to directly pay for the bare minimum labor of bringing food to a table? Did I suddenly become your employer? If you want more money, ask your boss. Even McDonald's brings food to your table these days, and they don't demand a tip. What’s next, am I supposed to support your whole family? I dine out all the time at dozens of different restaurants, and this is the first time I’ve ever been patronized and scolded like a child. I didn't argue back purely to keep things civil and maintain some basic decency. The server thought they were being smart, but if I had actually caused a scene, it would have hurt the restaurant's reputation a lot more than mine—it's not my business, after all. Unbelievable entitlement.

Happy Lamb was better when it use to be little sheep. Our spicy hotpot and tomato broth were lacking in flavor like they diluted it with water. We got the AYCE on a Friday night and let me tell you, it's NOT WORTH IT. The meat quality on the AYCE menu is purposely lower. You're better off ordering A La Carte. They advertise premium but you can see it's clearly choice grade or worse. Their American wagyu isn't even close to Wagyu, barely comparable to choice grade. The ayce menu doesn't include things on the regular menu so we ended up paying extra for those too! View our receipts. Avoid this hotpot place and go down the street to haidilao or anywhere else

It was a cold day, so my family and I went out for hot pot. We had to wait a little, but the servers were very friendly and the food was delicious. I feel like my stomach is about to burst, but I’m happy.
